A song that seems to get alot of requests on-stage and at backyard/campfire jams is “Wanted: Dead or Alive” by Bon Jovi. This tune is a great rock anthem with some very cool arpeggio picking guitar parts
The tabs are in the video (full and 1/2 speed, how cool!) but here they are for your off-video practice.

I am a band director who is new to tab. I am confused, even after watching the video. The opening 4 notes sound to me like:
—-16———–16
———————–
————14——–
0———————-
———————–
———————–
What am I missing? When I play it as written here, the chord seems to be in the wrong inversion.
Correction: my 16s should be 17s. Thanks for the help.
@Aaron Smith: No, the tab is correct. By your tab, you are hearing notes an octave apart. They are definitely 6th intervals moving down the neck.
Make sure when reading tab you know the top line represents the skinniest string (high E). I hope that helps. Write back if I can be more clear. Thanks.
