Some cool scale choices:
A clean, reverb-drenched guitar sound will serve this style well. Try using a touch of palm-muting for that staccato, “stucky”, sound that is so typical of Reggae single note parts. Irie, Mon!

I am so happy to see some basic backing trax to jam along with. I like the reaggae one especially. These really help me with Modes, and scales. I am trying all sounds with all jam trax, thanks. I am playing slower rythym note leads to create new ideas that could be used to create variations on the theme.
