I have seen some videos on how to play funk, but i am having a hard time trying to make those scales sound like funk. You have any advice?

@jonathan – A lot of funk guitar style revolves around rhythm and technique more than scale choices, IMO. Typical scales might include Dorian and Mixolydian modes, so if you are trying those you are on the right track. I don’t know what videos you are watching so I can’t tell if the problem is theirs or yours!

I will put a funk-style tutorial up this week. I had a few available through my Riff Interactive archives but, while the content is there, the audio and video don’t seem available now.
