Hello Storm,
I have commented on your site once or twice and I find it very worth while to pursue your Online Guitar Support. My wife and I have discussed this and while she wants me to wait a little longer on taken lessons from someone, I wanted to get a little more information about your services. From your web page: http://guitarteacher.com/services/ask-the-teacher/, I can see how helpful your services can be, but I guess, I am a little hesitant in guitar lessons or support over the internet. Your post on: “Learning Note Names on the E String” was very nice and the more I read your site and blogs, the more I would like to learn from you.
I still need to make sure that the misses is ok with me taken lessons from anyone, but I was just looking for more of what you do and can do over the internet.
For now, a faithful reader:

Hey Michael!
Thanks for considering my ‘Ask The Teacher’ service.
Basically, ‘Ask’ is a personalized, asynchronous lesson format meant to help you reach your goals on guitar. In traditional private guitar lessons, students sign up for a specific block of time to meet with me (I offer these types of lessons, as well). With ‘Ask’, simply ask me a question through my forum or by email and I will answer your question ASAP through my website or by email. I might post a video or audio response, send or post pictures or graphics (sheet music scans, say) or I may refer you to a web link that would, in my opinion, help you. Maybe you want a lesson on a certain subject. The service is kind of what you make of it. Use it as little or as much as you want. I will do my best to make your $9.99/month investment valuable to you.

I just joined the “ask the teacher service” and hopefully I can “lick” (heheeh) my huge, detrimental issue.
I just wanted to add…what's all this, “if it's ok with the miss” stuff? With all due respect and not trying to offend but..screw the miss, if you want the lessons take them, are you really this…let me stop here.
Take the lessons man, they will only help.

Hey pinkyfailure,
Thanks for signing up! Post in the 'Ask The Teacher' section of the forum and let me know the 'issue' we can work on. Guitar-related only, please!

Totally Guitars looks nice, but it's aimed at more advanced players. I like the House of Blues and actually picked up their beginner Rock House Method for electric guitar (ISBN 0-9764347-3-3). Unfortunately, shortly afterwards I switched to playing Bass. FORTUNATELY, my guitar teacher covers both!
For me and my money, this site is perfect for my mid-level abilities as it covers basics (that I have yet to learn) and more advanced stuff (that helps me stretch and advance). More importantly, IMO, when I ask a question here it gets answered by someone qualified to provide the information I'm in need of. Not only is Storm a bonified, paper-hanging, music-degree-holding teacher; he's a live-performing, lead-guitar-playing,gigging and recording musician! On other forums the answers usually come from anyone who stumbles in and feels like blabbing.
